Discover Waterdown - Shop Smart - Shop Local
Welcome to the Waterdown BIA A great dining, shopping and service community!
The ‘Victorian Village’ of Waterdown has a long and glorious history in the area and within the province of Ontario.
Located east of highway #6 along the historic Dundas highway #5, the village dates back to the sixteen hundreds and the first inhabitants in the area, the Neutral Indians.
An important mill town from 1800 to the early twentieth century, the village has changed and adapted throughout the decades. Today, the BIA area includes the historic village along with three modern and up to date retail plazas. The community around us, is growing at an unprecedented rate.
